Our Mission
Cross of Christ Lutheran Church and School, saved and united through faith in Christ, exists to serve all people in the greater Coon Rapids area and beyond by connecting young and old to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Word and Sacrament.

Our Worship Services

Christ-Centered - Jesus Christ's life, death, and resurrection are the foundation of our faith and the focus of our worship.

Means-of-Grace Centered - God's Word and the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion are the means, or tools, that God uses to give us his forgiveness and blessing.

Liturgical - We follow the historic pattern of Christian worship that the church has used for centuries.

Our Ministry

We offer many opportunities to strengthen faith and grow in God’s Word in conjunction with weekly worship services.

  • Bible Information Class – Explains Christian faith and prepares individuals for meaningful ministry partnership.
  • Catechism - Instruction in the truths of God's Word by preparing young people for their proper reception of the Lord's Supper, as well as continued growth in Holy Scripture and responsible church membership.
  • Bible Studies – Continuing the path of spiritual growth through a variety of smaller group studies for adults, teens, moms, and women.
  • Christian Education - Cross of Christ Lutheran School & Preschool provides a quality Christian education for Preschool through 8th grade where students grow and develop the skills needed to be faith-filled, life-long learners anchored in God’s Word.
  • Service Ministries - Opportunities to show others God's unconditional love by serving and assisting members AND our community.
